HC Deb 22 November 1927 vol 210 cc1625-6W

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the number of hours overtime worked by Customs and Excise departmental clerks employed in the Customs and Excise London central collection during the months of January to October, 1927, respectively, and the number of departmental clerks concerned in respect of each month?

The number of hours overtime worked by the clerks in question during each month, January to October, 1927, and the number of clerks concerned are as follow:

annuities due by Italy have been integrally paid. Under Article 7 of the Funding Agreement with France (Command Paper 2692), the settlement of the amount of £53,500,000 in gold due to France and of an equivalent amount of the French debt to this country is left to be determined by a further agreement; and in this case, as also in that of the £60,000,000 due to Russia, these sums may be regarded as available to be set off against the debts owed by the Governments concerned to this country.
