§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSHis Majesty's Government recognise the pain that attacks on any religion may cause to the adherents of that religion; but it is impossible to take action against any publication that is not technically blasphemous or obscene, and His Majesty's Government are not prepared to undertake an alteration of the law.
