§ Mr. AMERYIn reply to the first part of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave to-day to my hon. Friend the Member for Barnstaple (Sir B. Peto). As regards the specific case mentioned in the second part of the question, I could not concur in the suggestion that that case was considered by the Committee otherwise than on its merits.
