CHAMBERLAINThe reply given to the question of the hon. and gallant Member for Central Hull (Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy) on the 23rd May explained the circumstances in which representations were made against the transfer of the rolling stock of the Shanghai-Nanking Railway from Nanking to Pukow, and the reason for making these representations. This action was taken by the authorities in China in the normal course of their duties, as had been done on previous occasions.
