HC Deb 09 May 1927 vol 206 cc51-2W
Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that a man by the name of Robert Treadway was riding in an electric train between Stepney and Aldgate and, in consequence of the carriage door being open, he got up to close the same when the train lurched violently and he was thrown off the train; that frequently many of the carriage doors of the electric trains are not closed; and if he intends taking any action in the matter?

Colonel ASHLEY

The railway company have reported this accident to me, and I am in communication with them in regard to it.
