§ Mr. GROVESasked the Minister of Health whether he has issued any regulations dealing with the standardisation of vaccines and sera; and, if so, whether such regulations have been published for sale?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINDraft Regulations under the Therapeutic Substances Act, 1925, were published and placed on sale last April. Substantive Regulations have now been made after consideration of representations from the trade and other interests concerned, and will come into operation on the 6th August next, except those relating to labelling which will not come into operation till 6th February, 1928. These Regulations will be laid before Parliament, and will be available immediately after the Whitsun Recess.
