§ Sir A. SINCLAIRasked the Minister of Transport what is the estimated expenditure out of the Road Fund upon Scottish Roads for the current year?
§ Colonel ASHLEYI am unable to state the amount which will be actually spent 41W in the year, but it is estimated that the allocation to Scottish authorities, out of the revenues of the Road Fund available for distribution in grants during the current year, will amount to £2,110,000. This sum does not include any payments towards expenditure incurred on works still in hand, towards which grants have been made in previous years.
