§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe French scheme for licensing coal imports came into force on 10th June, but figures of our coal exports are not available for periods shorter than calendar months. In May, our exports of coal consigned to France amounted to 835,000 tons and in June to 717,000 tons. The corresponding figures for May and June, 1925, were 884,000 tons and 711,000 tons, respectively.
