§ Mr. R. McNEILL, pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 25th November, 1926, col. 535, Vol. 200] supplied the following information:
The following gives the information requested for the year 1924–25 based upon expenditure actually incurred in that year according to the latest information available.

According to latest information it appears that this sum was probably paid into the Trust Fund in the financial year 1923–24. †In making comparisons between India and other parts of the Empire the relatively low income per head and the standard of living in India have to be borne in mind.
