HC Deb 17 February 1927 vol 202 cc1128-9W
Mr. W. BAKER

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the success which has attended the experimental plan of trailing young non-commissioned officers at Sandhurst, there is any intention of increasing the number of vacancies open to non-commissioned ranks?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

As a result of experience of the scheme, I am proposing to extend it to the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, where three vacancies each half-year will be offered to non-commissioned officers from February, 1928.
