§ Mr. AMMONasked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been drawn to the generally unhealthy condition of the Llandrindod Wells Post Office; whether he is aware that there is no retiring room for the male staff and that the retiring room for the female staff is most unsuitable; what steps he proposes to take to remedy this deficiency of accommodation; and whether, seeing that land was purchased nearly two years ago for the new post office building, he will authorise immediate steps to be taken in connection with its, erection?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe defects in the existing accommodation, although not so serious as represented, are recognised. It is proposed to erect a new office, but I regret that it has not been found practicable to include provision for it in the Estimates for next year.
