§ Colonel DAYasked the Minister of Labour if he will consider the amendment of existing Regulations affecting representation on local employment committees in order that the Southwark Board of Guardians may, with a view to co-ordination, be represented on the Borough Employment Committee?
Mr. B ETTERTONThe existing arrangements enable boards of guardians to be represented, where necessary, among the additional members of Local Employment Committees. In dealing with particular cases, the Minister is guided by the views of the Local Employment Committee concerned.
