§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREThere are certain areas in Mombasa in which, owing to previous legal commitments, racial restrictions as to leases and occupation will have to continue. The reasons for this state of affairs were fully set out in the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State on the 10th June, 1926, to the right hon. and gallant Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Colonel Wedgwood).
