§ Colonel ASHLEYI have been asked to reply. A scheme relating to Central Scotland has already been prepared by the Electricity Commissioners and transmitted to the Central Electricity Board for consideration. The preparation of a second scheme, namely, for Central England, is in an advanced stage.
