STEEL-MAITLANDFor the week ended 2nd April, 1927, the amount paid from the Unemployment Fund in respect of unemployed persons registered at the Devonport Employment Exchange was approximately £960. As the Exchequer contributes 2/7;ths of the income of the Fund, the cost to the Exchequer is about £275.
