§ Colonel DAYasked the Postmaster-General the number of prosecutions instituted against persons for failing to renew wireless licences?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONSince the passage of the Wireless Telegraph (Explanation) Act, 1925, legal proceedings have been instituted against 487 persons for installing or working wireless apparatus without a licence. I am unable to say in how many of these cases licences had previously been held.
