Mr. CHAMBERLAINFor Carlisle the provisional infantile mortality rate (deaths under one year of age per 1,000 live births) for the first three quarters of 1926 is 80. No other figures are at present available for that period. Figures for the first half-year will, however, shortly be forthcoming for all the urban districts in question, and I will send them to my hon. Friend as soon as they are available.
