§ Mr. SHEPHERDasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether steps can be taken to prevent Income Tax collectors demanding and accepting tax on ground rent from occupier owners of municipal houses when an arrange-meet exists whereby this tax is paid direct by the municipal authority to the Income Tax authority
§ Mr. McNEILLIf the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars of any case of the kind which he has in mind, I will cause inquiry to be made into it and will communicate the results to him in due course.
