§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDI cannot give separate figures for Devonport, but the number of applications for extended benefit (including repeat applications from the same individual) recommended for disallowance by the Plymouth and Devonport Local Employment Committee, during the period 25th August, 1925, to 8th March, 1926, was 1,535, out of a total of 13,669 eases considered by tin Committee.
