§ Mr. BALFOURasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what proposals he intends to make to allow temporary typists, who have already reached the age of 28 years, to become permanent civil servants; and whether he is aware that there has only so far been one examination for which temporary typists above this age limit have been eligible to compete over the whole reconstruction period?
