Sir F. HALL
asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to a speech made at Barking, by a Mr. A. J. Cook, on 5th March; whether he has received any report of the proceedings at the meeting at which it was delivered; and whether, in view of the seditious nature of the speech in question, proceedings will be taken against the speaker?
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS
Yes, Sir; my attention has been called to reports of the proceedings at the meeting to which the hon. and gallant Member refers, but I am advised that they do not disclose the need for any action on my part.
