HC Deb 09 March 1926 vol 192 cc2135-6W
Sir A. SPROT

asked the Postmaster-General, in view of the recommendations of the Scottish Conference on agricultural policy of the adoption of a system of cash on delivery by the Post Office, if he will consider the desirability of introducing this system, which would be of great assistance to that industry?

Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSON

The introduction of the cash-on-delivery system in the inland service is still under examination, and I cannot at present add anything to previous answers on this subject.
