asked the Minister of Labour if it has been decided to increase the staff and the accommodation of the Employment Exchange at Slough; if so, what will be the expenditure involved, and how many workers found employment through this exchange in the past year?

Mr. BETTERTON

So long as the work remains at its present level, it is not proposed to increase the staff at the Slough Exchange. The question of rehousing is under consideration, but no decision has yet been made. The number of persons placed in Employment by the Slough Employment Exchange during the year 1925 was 1,216.
