§ Sir L. FORESTIER-WALKERThe planting programme of the Forestry Commissioners for the current season amounts to 18,200 acres, distributed over 94 forests. It includes 2,250 acres, which are being planted in 15 forests in the following Welsh counties (including Monmouth): Carnarvon, Glamorgan, Merioneth, Montgomery, Radnor, and Monmouth. The planting programme for next season is 22,600 acres, and will thereafter increase annually up to 30,000 acres.
