asked the First Lord of the Admiralty the total expenditure in 1913–14 and the estimated expenditure in the current year under Navy Votes, and the sums included therein in respect of personnel, material, works, buildings and lands, the Admiralty, and other services, respectively; and the number of regular service personnel on the establishment in each of these years?
So far as the estimated expenditure and the number of service personnel for the current year are concerned, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the Annual Estimates and to the Supplementary Estimate of 27th July last As regards the actual expenditure in 1913–14, I would refer him to the Navy Appropriation Account for that year. The figures of expendi-64W ture, as well as the number of service personnel for that year, will also be found summarised on pages 6 and 7 of the Navy Estimates for 1922–23.
