§ Sir A. KNOXasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, seeing that the anti-British boycott in Canton from which the trade of this country is suffering is the result of propaganda carried on by Soviet subjects in Southern China, and that such propaganda constitutes a- breach of the Anglo-Soviet Trade Agreement of the 16th March, 1921, he will state whether he will, in the interests of our unemployed; make representations to the Government of Moscow to cause such propaganda to cease"
§ Sir A. CHAMBERLAINI do not think the representations suggested by my hon. Friend would at present achieve the object which he has in view.
