HC Deb 11 February 1926 vol 191 c1255W
Mr. HAYES

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, the approximate cost of fitting up the room in the Paymaster-General's office occupied by the Paymaster-General?

Sir H. BARNSTON

I have been asked to reply to this question. This room, formerly occupied by clerical staff, was fitted up for occupation by the Paymaster-General at a cost of £314. In addition, expenditure of approximately £200 was incurred in redecoration already due and in the eradication of dry rot in the floor of this room and of the adjoining corridors.
