§ Mr. COUPERasked the Minister of Labour whether he aware of the circumstances under which the steamer "Saint Mungo" has been laid idle at Garston Dock, Liverpool, since 4th January; whether the coal workers refused to load the vessel because the masters and officers declined to join the Transport and General Workers' Union; and whether, in view of the principle involved, he will appoint a Court of Inquiry into the facts and circumstances of the dispute?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDI am glad to say that this dispute has now been settled. I do not think further inquiry is called for.
