HC Deb 04 February 1926 vol 191 c325W
Mr. W. BAKER

asked the Postmaster-General whether it is proposed to reduce the status of the Weedon Post Office; whether the proposed alteration will result in the control of the office being handed over to an un established sub-postmaster and to the employment of un established labour, paid at a reduced rate as compared with the present staff; whether the transfer of the existing staff to other Crown offices is contemplated; and, if so, what arrangements are being made to find satisfactory housing accommodation for the married men so transferred?

Viscount WOLMER

I am having inquiry made, and will communicate with the hon. Member.
