HENDERSONasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, seeing that a circular has been issued by the Scottish Board of Health stating that no licence should be granted for a slaughter-house where this is within 100 feet of dwelling-houses, he will say whether this regulation is still in force; and why it was not carried out in the case of a licence granted by the Wigtownshire County Council for a slaughterhouse at Fort William within 45 feet of dwelling-houses and shops?
