HC Deb 10 December 1926 vol 200 cc2435-6W
Sir A. SINCLAIR

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action the Board of Agriculture took between Whit Sunday, 1923, and. Whit Sunday, 1926, with a view to the constitution of small holdings upon or to the disposal otherwise of the estate of Eriboll; and whether the Board considered at any time during the present year any scheme for the settlement of ex-service men other than the one which was refused by the latter in 1923?

Sir J. GILMOUR

The problem of dealing with Eriboll was continuously before the Board of Agriculture for Scotland during the period mentioned by the hon. and gallant Member and various proposals for sub-division of the farm were examined up to the time when the offer from the present purchaser was received.
