§ Mr. CECIL WILSONasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in the event of no questionnaire being submitted, it is intended to obtain the necessary information for the guidance of the Permanent Mandates Commission by some other means; and whether he can indicate the means to be employed?
Mr. LOCKER - LAMPSONIn conformity with the obligation imposed by Article 22 of the Covenant, His Majesty's Government have always furnished detailed annual reports on the administration of the mandated territories and supplied any additional information required by the Mandates Commission. There is no question of discontinuing this practice.
