Colonel DAY

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department what action has been taken by his Department in connection with the British Industries Fair, 1927?

Mr. A.M.SAMUEL

The necessary arrangements are being made by the Department of Overseas Trade and by the Birmingham authorities for holding the British Industries Fair in London and Birmingham next year from 21st February to 4th March. The Government have again appropriated the sum of £25,000 for publicity. Forms of application for space have been issued, and already some 700 firms have applied for space.
