§ Major BIRCHALLEighteen applications have come forward: 11 for lawn tennis; three for lawn tennis and bowls; four for golf. Permissions have been granted in 10 cases for lawn tennis; in three for lawn tennis and bowls; in three for golf. Permission has been refused in one case of lawn tennis and in one case of golf.
