HC Deb 21 April 1926 vol 194 c1220W
Mr. R. MORRISON

asked the Minister of Health if he can explain the delay which has arisen in dealing with the application for a widow's pension of Mrs. K. Lancaster, 230, Northumberland Park, Tottenham, who made application in November last; and when a decision will be made in this case?

Mr. NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN

The delay in the decision of this claim was mainly due to difficulties created by the fact that the husband of the claimant passed under an assumed name while engaged in insurable employment. The question of identity has, however, now been settled and notice of the award of pension is being sent to Mrs. Lancaster.
