§ Mr. BARNESasked the Minister of Health whether, having regard to the fact that the Milk and Dairies Act of 1915 has been in operation since the 1st September last, he is now able to state the date on which the Regulations to be operated under this Act will be published; and whether, in view of the scope of the Sections of the Act under which it is proposed to issue Regulations, he will arrange for a discussion in this House before putting the Regulations into operation?
§ Sir K. WOODMy right hon. Friend is at present consulting the associations of local authorities with regard to a draft Milk and Dairies Order which has been prepared under the Act of 1915, and he hopes that the draft will be ready for publication about the end of the year. When the Order has been made it will be laid before the House and an Address may be presented to his Majesty praying that the Order be annulled. A discussion could, therefore, take place on the Order on a Motion for such an Address.
