STEEL-MAITLANDDuring the six months ended 31st October the number of applications for unemployment benefit referred by the Borough Employment Exchange to the Chief Insurance Officer on the ground that some question arose as to the title for benefit was 3,056410W and the number in which he allowed benefit was 529. In addition, 182 cases were subsequently allowed by the Court of Referees.
