Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe terms of the advertisement were approved; but in addition to the salary of &£114 for the office of sanitary inspector, the officer is to receive £88 for other offices. The council have appointed an unqualified man, and I propose to inform them that, on present information, I am unable to approve the appointment.
