Mr. CHAMBERLAINI am aware that the default on the German issue of this Loan has not yet been made good. His Majesty's Minister at Peking, with whom I have been in telegraphic communication on the subject, reports that he has pressed the Chinese Government to meet the British-held coupons without further delay.
