§ Mr. MACPHERSONasked the Secretary for Scotland whether representations have been made to the Board of Agricul- 2087W ture for consideration of the construction of a road for the township of Camusteel, in the parish of Applecross; whether he is aware that such a road is a necessity for the children attending the public school of the district, who have no road and a bridgeless burn to cross in all weathers; and whether he will instruct the Board of Agriculture to take immediate steps to render all possible assistance to remedy this grievance?
§ Sir J. GILMOURThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Inquiry is being made into the circumstances of the case, and the application for assistance will be considered by the Board of Agriculture for Scotland in the allocation of grants-in-aid of works of this character during the year 1925–6.
