The: ATTORNEY-GENERALIn 1924 the total fees taken in the district probate registries was £105,228, and in the principal probate registry for contentious as web as non-contentious business £182,786. The cost incurred in respect of salaries and bonus was in the district probate registries £66,082, and in the 1873W principal probate registry £52,572. These figures do not include the cost of buildings, rates, lighting, heating, printing, stationery, postage, travelling and subsistence expenses, pensions, etc.
