§ Mr. AMERYFor the year 1923, which is the latest year for which complete figures are available, the revenues derived from opium by the Governments of the Straits Settlements, the Federated Malay States and Brunei formed 45.4 per cent., 16.9 per cent., 18.24 per cent. respectively of the total revenues collected by those Governments; as regards North Borneo the latest year for which I have information is 1921, when the proportion was 12.3 per cent.
