The numbers of private families were 8,161,452 in England and 577,745 in Wales 1355W and Monmouth. As regards Scotland, the hon. Member should address a question to the Secretary for Scotland.
- England.—7,450,405 (including 204,415 dwellings temporarily vacant on census night).
- Wales and Monmouth.—528,249 (including 14,418 dwellings temporarily vacant on census night).
