Mr. GUINNESSAs reported to Parliament on 21st July, 1924 (see HOUSE of Commons Paper 121 of 1924), a loan462W of £115,000 raised by the Jamaica Sugar Estates, Limited, has been guaranteed under the Act. The purpose of this loan is to buy machinery in this country. I am not aware of any other application from West Indian sugar estates.
