§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONTelegrams are not delivered by messenger after 8 p.m. outside a radius of four miles from Charing Cross. Those addressed to telephone subscribers in any part of London are delivered by telephone from the Central Telegraph Office up to 11 p.m., or later if they are urgent. I regret that I cannot undertake further to extend delivery by messenger after 8 p.m.
