§ Sir G. BUTLERasked the Postmaster-General whether an air mail service has been established between Rotterdam and Malmő in accordance with the recommendations of the Hague Air Mail Conference of November, 1923; and whether there are as yet indications that the ser. ice is working satisfactorily from the point of view of Anglo-Scandinavian air mail communication?
§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe air mail service between Rotterdam and Malmő, which was recommended at the Conference referred to, was instituted in July last. British mails for Norway and Sweden, however, were already being conveyed by the slightly shorter but equally useful Rotterdam-Copenhagen service, which had been started in the previous May. I regret to say that this service did not attract much traffic. Both services are suspended for the winter season.
