§ Sir A. BUTTasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he proposes to introduce any Bill this year dealing with the tenure of allotments or to facilitate the co-operative purchase of seeds and fertilisers by allotment-holders?
Mr. WOODSo far as "tenure of allotments" is concerned, the answer is in the negative. The hon. and gallant Member for Oxford (Captain Bourne) will, however, shortly introduce a Bill whichinter alia will deal with this ques- 57W tion. With regard to the second part of the question, I would remind my hon. Friend that the Agricultural Credits Act provides for loans to be made to credit societies whose members can borrow money to purchase agricultural requirements such as fertilisers and seeds.
