SHAWasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether, seeing that co-operative societies do not pay Income Tax on their annual profits, he will initiate legislation to the effect that they shall be brought into the ambit of taxation in view of the fact that a large percentage of the customers of such cooperative societies are not shareholders?
