§ Sir J. GILMOURIn 1924 there were 24 prosecutions for illegal trawling in Scottish waters. Convictions were obtained in 18 cases, viz., 10 convictions for a first offence, six convictions for a second offence, one conviction for a third offence, and one conviction for a fourth offence.
