§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREI have been asked to reply to this question. With the co-operation of the Board of Education, efforts are being made to give increased prominence to the study of the Empire in elementary schools. Information regarding the various schemes which have been arranged for the assisted migration of juveniles is brought to the notice of juvenile advisory committees of the Ministry of Labour, and of those local education authorities who are responsible for giving advice and assistance to young persons in regard to choice of employment.
